[edit] How to add Plug-Ins to your Collars
Since the collars and holders are mostly Mod/No Copy the have to be rezzed to the ground or another surface for them to be modified. Adding scripts, animations, plug-ins, etc. all have to be done with the item out of your inventory. (Sometimes it may work while the object is being worn, but usually it is best to just rez the object).
Add contents to your product by doing the following:
- Drag the product from your Inventory onto a surface in SL. Make sure that you are land permissions to rez objects.
- Right-Click on the product and select Open.
- Find the CTD Plug-In Script in your Inventory and drag the script from your Inventory to the opened Contents of the collar.
- Script should display a system message saying that it is Enabled.
- Close the Contents window by using the X in the Upper-Right Corner of that window.
- Right-Click on the product and select Take.
- Wear (or Attach) the product again.
- NOTE: As of SL client 1.25, when any items are added to the Contents of another item the permissions "collapse" into the main object. Meaning that if you have an item that has Modify/Transfer Permissions and you add something to its contents that has Transfer Only permissions, the object will then appear to be only Transfer Permissions when brought back into inventory. This is normal. According to some paper writing made the object itself will still have Modify/Transfer Permissions however the way it appears in your Inventory will not appear that way.
[edit] Plug-Ins:
[edit] Tracker for Collars
- Messages owner/master when:
- Pet teleports
- Pet enters a new region
- Pet changes or modifies the collars inventory
- E-mails and messages owner when the collar is removed.
[edit] Text Command
- Control the collar through spacial or channeled text commands.
- Can retain multiple owners.
- Allows owners to specify prefixes for specific pets. By default, a pets prefix is set to their first name.
- Example: You have a pet whos name is Stephinasia, but she is known as "Steph". The slaves prefix is how she will be identified by the collar. You can change her prefix to Steph so the command will be:
.steph (command)
Instead of:
.stephinasia (command)
